History
The Oil Sands Discovery Centre opened in 1985 as the Fort McMurray Oil Sands Interpretive Centre. For more than 30 years, the Centre has presented the history, science, and technology of Alberta's Oil Sands while offering a broad range of science programming through special events, summer camps, and school field trips.
Employment
The Oil Sands Discovery Centre is seeking a qualified applicant for a Cashier position. This is a part-time position at the Discovery Centre. Cashiers are the first point of contact for visitors to the Oil Sands Discovery Centre. Duties include greeting and welcoming guests, processing admissions payments, answering inquiries, providing basic visitor orientations to the Discovery Centre, and most importantly, providing outstanding customer service.
